Epic fantasy

Epic fantasies are usually set in their own universe with a different history to the real world.

Here is a list of epic fantasies:

1.) Princess Mononoke (1997) –  A battle between forest gods and human greed, set in a mythic medieval Japan.

2.) Spirited Away (2001) –  A girl enters a spirit world filled with gods, witches, and strange creatures.

3.) How to Train Your Dragon (2010–2019) – A Viking boy bonds with a dragon, changing his world forever.

4.) Tales from Earthsea (2006) –  A dark, magical journey about balance and destiny.
